by Joesph Till
August 9, 2007
CDs or certificate of deposits with a longer maturity period will pay a higher rate than those with a shorter maturity. You can say that the best CD rates have the longest maturities, and many investors will even go as far to say that a certificate of deposit is the best and safest investment. There are some people who invest in a certificate of deposit to supplement their retirement income. There ...more...

by Chris Duncan
July 25, 2007
What are the current highest CD rates? Are we in an upturn, downturn, or just coasting along? Investment rates throughout the spectrum of opportunities have never been so volatile. What are the causes? Are there any solutions? How will the highest CD rates respond?

6. Invest on CDs, Step up Your Funds
by Wain Roy
April 5, 2007
For those who are trying to trace the connection between CDs and funds, let's clear it at the onset. The CDs under discussion are not the compact discs you play, but the Certificates of Deposit (CDs) that you invest on to grow your money in the bank or other financial institutions. Commonly referred to as 'money in the bank', CDs are nothing but time deposits offered by banks, credit unions o ...more...

7. Bollinger Bands Strategies
by Steven T. Ng
March 31, 2005
The Bollinger Band theory is designed to depict the volatility of a stock. It is quite simple, being composed of a simple moving average, and its upper and lower "bands" that are 2 standard deviations away. Standard deviations are a statistical tool used to contain the majority of movement or "deviation" around an average value.
